Five-Star Reviews from Halliday

Top Australian wine writer James Halliday offers up a couple of five-star reviews of Two Hands wine in the December 2012/January 2013 issue of his Wine Companion magazine!

2011 Sexy Beast McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon
It’s not easy to see how McLaren Vale cabernet could achieve this ripeness in ’11, but it obviously has been with awesome viticulture and winemaking providing the answer: blackcurrant, dark chocolate fruit and tannins are in plentiful supply on the palate and finish. 14.8% alc.

2011 Two Hands Brave Faces Barossa Valley Grenache Shiraz Mataro
Light, clear crimson; the fragrant red berry bouquet leads into a light to medium-bodied palate with better fruit expression than most such blends from this vintage; supple mouthfeel to a light to medium bodied wine makes for enjoyable early drinking. 14.3% alc.
