Before 2013 Uncorks, A 2012 Assessment

The 2013 vintage is beginning to unfold in Australia, but before we plunge into that maelstrom of activity, we’ve got a special treat – a look back at 2012. This was actually a fairly orderly vintage, according to Two Hands Wines proprietor Michael Twelftree, characterized by excellent weather and steady ripening of the grapes. “The winery was never under pressure,” Twelftree says, and in the end, “2012 was a great vintage.” Learn more about why in this video from the Barossa.
