Sexy Beast on Cooking District

cooking districtCooking District – the site for culinary professionals – is featuring the Two Hands “Sexy Beast” Cabernet Sauvignon in its “Liquid Intelligence” column; with Labor Day still three weeks away, Lisa McLaughlin notes that the wine is a great choice for summer grilling:

The irreverent, saucy name and $30 price tag make this tier more affordable and approachable that the Single Vineyard and Garden Series, but these are still well crafted, premium wines.

Aged in 12 percent new oak, Two Hands, Sexy Beast 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is fresh and vital, with big aromas of red currant, cassis, licorice, with hints of herbs. Great body, with soft tannins and a slight deep chocolaty twist. It’s a great choice for Summer grilling season.
