Cabernet Sauvignon McLaren Vale Aphrodite 2012
Score: 90
Lithe and sleek, with snappy red berry, tangy red pepper and floral flavors coming together on the focused, intense finish. Best from 2017 through 2020. 85 cases made. –HS

Grenache McLaren Vale Schuller Blewitt Springs 2012
Score: 91
Fresh and vibrant, with a distinct black pepper note to the tannins and blackberry flavors, lingering on the refined finish. Best from 2016 through 2020. 144 cases made. –HS

Shiraz McLaren Vale Schuller Blewitt Springs 2012
Score: 91
Plush and expressive, with an espresso undertone adding to the blackberry and dark plum flavors. Picks up a peppery mineral note as the deftly balanced finish persists. Drink now through 2022. 488 cases made. –HS
